Occupation: Council Member Gonzalez is a case manager at a local behavior health center where he mentors and counsels youth with substance abuse issues. Born in New York and raised in Ohio, he moved to Florida in 1987. Council Member Gonzalez served in the United States Coast Guard for 28 years before retiring as a Chief Petty Officer. He and his family moved to Clermont in 2017.
Boards, Committees, Memberships: Council Member Gonzalez served on the Clermont Planning and Zoning Commission prior to being elected to the city council. He is exploring other opportunities for community involvement.
