Parks
The city parks opened Fri., June 5. Park hours returned to sunrise to 10 p.m. Park rangers and police officers will patrol these areas to ensure the public is following guidelines from the governor and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), including practicing social distancing (staying at least 6 feet apart from others) and not gathering in groups of more than 50 people. The City of Clermont Parks Department maintains the Clermont Historic Village and 22 parks. The most widely used parks are Hancock Park, Palatlakaha Park and Waterfront Park. All parks have free admission.

The Clermont Historic Village is located by Lake Minneola and Waterfront Park. The Village is managed by the South Lake Historical Society and is home to original, historic structures, including: a train depot, Townsend Home, Kern Home, Cooper Memorial Library and a World War II Quonset hut in addition to a re-created one-room schoolhouse.
WATERFRONT PARK
Waterfront Park is located along Lake Minneola, between East Avenue and Eighth Street. The park is home to almost weekly festivals, such as Pig on the Pond, and a host of triathlons and new water competitions, such as the Champions’ Dragon Boat Festival and Leader of the Lake Regatta. A fitness trail that is part of a 30-mile system, and will be part of the coast-to-coast trail, runs through the park.

LAKE HIAWATHA
450 12th St. (west of the roundabout)
Hours: Sunrise to Sunset, seven days a week.
Lake Hiawatha Preserve is a 220-acre passive park that includes two dog parks, a playground, picnic pavilion and restrooms.
Also located here is the Champions Pointe Disc Golf Course, rated one of the top 100 courses in the world by disc golfers on the app UDisc. Learn more here.
HANCOCK PARK
Hancock Park has five softball fields, two soccer fields, tennis courts, full concession, restrooms, playground, pavilion and picnic areas. The park is home to the Clermont Girls Softball League.
PALATLAKAHA PARK
Amenities: 4 ball fields, full concession, restrooms, soccer field, tennis courts, volleyball courts, basketball court, racquetball court, fitness trail, state of the art playground, pavilion, picnic area and a fishing pier/nature walk. Home of the South Lake Little League.
VICTORY POINTE
Victory Pointe is a passive park combined with a stormwater project that is critical to the success of the City’s award-winning Master Plan. The 10-acre site combines recreational elements, such as trails and a special events space with an extensive stormwater facility that enhances drainage downtown and improves the quality of water entering Lake Minneola.

Center Lake
Has a Fitness Trail and is located in Historic Downtown Clermont.
Chestnut Park
275 Chestnut Street, 2 blocks west of East Avenue
Has a playground and picnic area.
Edgewood Park Place
Located on North Street within Orange Hill Subdivision.
Includes a playground and picnic area.
Kehlor Park
466 W Minneola Ave, at the intersection of Fifth Street and Minneola Avenue
Offers shuffleboard and tennis courts.
Kiwanis Park
Located at Fifth Street and Minnehaha Avenue.
Provides a picnic area and playground.
Lakeview Hills Park
Has a fitness trail that is located within Lakeview Hills subdivision.
Lake Felter Park
1750 Johns Lake Rd, adjacent to Lost Lake Elementary School.
This park provides tennis courts, playground, basketball courts, a softball field, reduced size soccer field and restrooms.
Montrose Tot Lot
Located at the corner of Montrose Street and Twelfth Street
Has a playground and picnic area.
Park of Indian Hills
1199 W Lakeshore Dr.
Includes a waterfront picnic area, leashed dogs are permitted.
Seminole Park
1201 Seminole St.
Offers a picnic area and playground.
Veterans Park
299 Minneola Ave
Is a Veterans Memorial.
West Beach
1215 Lake Minneola Dr.
Comprised of restrooms, fishing pier, playground, picnic area and beach. The park and playground are open for use.
