Sanitation
The City of Clermont's Sanitation Department serves approximately 12,000 customers with garbage removal, recycling pick-up, yard waste removal, e-waste revmoval and bluck pick-ups every week. The city provides every customer with 1 trash can and 1 recycle cart at $22.08 per month (residential). In an effort to meet the needs of the residents, the city provides three difference sized carts for both trash and recyle. The sizes available are 35, 65, and 95 gallon. Click HERE for photos and dimensions. Additional containers are avaialble upon request, the cost of those additional for $11.87 per month for each extra garbage can requested.
Set out all garbage and recyclables, including bulk items, before 7 a.m. on the designated collection day. Please note: there are some items, such as building materials, tires, hazardous waste and motor oil that cannot be collected and need to be disposed of at a separate facility. This will reduce operational costs and ensure garbage is collected in a timely manner. Hazardous Waste Collection
The Lake County Department of Public Works is encouraging residents to clean out their medicine cabinets of all unwanted or expired ingestible medicines, vitamins or cough syrups and prepare to take them for environmentally sensitive disposal.

Red Sharps Container Disposal Program
