The City of Clermont Engineering Department provides safe and reliable design systems for the City and its customers. The Engineering Department manages the design, construction, and inspection of the City's water production and distribution system and wastewater collection and treatment system. The Engineering Department plays an important role to both the Utilities Department and Public Services Department.

The City of Clermont Engineering Department:

• Implements and manages the construction of infrastructure improvements for water, wastewater, stormwater, and roads.
• Reviews plans as part of the City's Development Review process to ensure that all new development is designed and constructed in conformance with the City's site development and utilities codes.
